Maharashtra election results 2024

The Mahayuti alliance, led by the BJP, is poised to maintain its governance in Maharashtra.

Current data from the Election Commission indicates that the alliance is ahead in 218 out of 288 assembly constituencies.

These figures are reported almost halfway through the counting process of the elections held on November 20.

According to the Election Commission, BJP candidates are leading in 123 constituencies and have secured victory in the Wadala seat located in Mumbai.

The Shiv Sena is currently leading in 55 seats, while the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) is ahead in 38 seats.

Within the MVA coalition, candidates from the Nationalist Congress Party, led by Sharadchandra Pawar, are leading in 13 constituencies.

Both the Congress party and the Shiv Sena faction led by Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray are each leading in 19 seats.

The counting process is ongoing, and these numbers may continue to evolve as results are finalized.

The BJP's strong performance in the assembly elections reflects its significant support base in the state.
